Krasivo Beauty Cafe — Specialty Coffee & Matcha on the Upper East Side

Krasivo Beauty Cafe sits on East 80th Street between Second and Third Avenue, one block east of the 77 St subway station and a short walk from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We pull small-batch espresso, whisk ceremonial grade matcha to order, and steam milk for one drink at a time — never re-steamed, never held in a jug.

The menu runs from espresso and flat white through to the raf, a Russian drink of espresso, cream and vanilla sugar steamed together that almost nobody in New York serves. Every cup can come with a spoonful of Russian jam on the side — raspberry, strawberry or black currant. That is how coffee is taken where the raf comes from.
